What kind of image do you get in your mind when I say “snowflake”? If you are from a colder climate originally (as I am) and you have any experience with snow, particularly as a child, you will immediately imagine two things. The first is the original, that amazingly lacy, one of a kind, intricately designed by nature ice crystal that you used to look at stuck to the outside of your window panes throughout winter. Those wispy fantastic icy delicious flakes that used to land on your tongue is what will come to mind. It is a scientific fact that each and every one of these snow flakes (which are made up of a number of ice crystals) are completely and absolutely individual, with no one snow flake ever looking exactly like any other one. They are always one of a kind.
Another image that always comes to my mind is the paper snowflakes that we used to make as children. We would fold paper into a very small square, and cut geometric corners and pieces out, so that when we unfolded it we would get our own rendition of the natural snowflake. Every time we made on it would be just a little different (or a lot) just like the real ones. We would stick these on the walls and windows, and could be extremely beautiful in their own right. (In fact one day when I was going through my papers, I found some ancient paper snowflakes that I had made many moons ago. They are still beautiful and I still love them!)
Ice crystals are one of those little God given miracles that we don’t really think about very much. They are always there, so we don’t feel their rarity, and we hardly ever sit and concentrate on them to admire their beauty. If your refrigerator gets frosted up, you will find that it is loaded with ice crystals in the form of that nasty frothy frozen water that we want to get rid of. The only time we really think about how fantastic ice crystals are is when they are in the form of snow, and here in Kuwait, we are not likely to get snow any time in the near future. Thus, the only people who really know about the beauty of snow and ice crystals are those living in the farther north or south, where it snows. Well, that is a true shame, because those ice crystals are some of the most amazing things you will ever see. They are special because they are wonderful to look at, but also because of their fleeting nature. As soon as they melt they are gone forever.
I recently came to know something very interesting about ice crystals. An interesting discovery has been made about water and ice crystals. There is a Japanese researcher who has initiated some of the most enlightening science that you will see in a long time. The implications of this science are immense if used to their maximum potential, but the party has only just begun, and hardly anyone is aware of it yet. I am talking about ice crystal formation and the influencing factors that affect them. If I told you that it has been discovered that certain words, music, and other influences can affect water, what would you think? Perhaps you would think that sounded a bit crazy. After all, water is water isn’t it? How could outside influences affect it?
Well, the idea is that every single thing on earth has something that we call vibrations. I am talking everything, including inanimate objects, so water has vibrations as well. That is why sometimes when you look at an object it almost looks and feels good, comforting, or even evil. We can feel it from inside our “souls”, but can’t really explain it on the outside. Water is not different. It has vibrations too. But, water is important to us as humans since we need so much of it. Our bodies are made up of more than 80% water, and we need to keep on replenishing it in one way or another every day. We might get our water from fruit or vegetables, or just from drinking it, but we need it. So, what if there was something wrong with our water? What if the water we were drinking wasn’t as healthy as it seemed. If we kept drinking unhealthy water, sooner or later it would have to affect our health, wouldn’t it? It only makes sense that that would be true. One the other hand, what if we were drinking healthy water? It stands to reason that healthy water would be ideal for us and help bring us to good health. Health water, good health…makes sense, doesn’t it?
What if I told you that water could be “made” to be healthier? What if I told you that we could be harming ourselves through harmful water that doesn’t look, seem, or test harmful from a known scientific medical standpoint, but is actually harmful due to other factors? It piques your interest doesn’t it?
It did mine when I first heard about it. I had to know what they were talking about, and when I did know, I was so blown away that I just had to incorporate it into my life immediately (which I have). Then, the next thing on my agenda was to share this important, indeed, revolutionary, life changing information with you. The rest of this story is so incredible that it is likely to change many things about your life if you take it to heart. Naturally, it will only change you if you let it, because the information you are about to find out about is something that you can either implement or not. No one is going to force it on you. But if you have the slightest bit of common sense you will see how mind boggling this concept is and use it for your benefit and the benefit of others. What makes it ideal is that there is really nothing simpler. The concept is easy to understand and even easier to use. For those of you who were following my “Mind over Matter” series that recently ran in the paper for several weeks, this is a logical extension of the concepts that you learned there.
So, next week we will get into the meat of what this concept is all about and how to use it for your health and well being, as well as that of your family and friends. If you haven’t read the “Mind over Matter” series, go to the Internet now and check it out on Arab Times Online (in the health section from recent weeks). There are eleven articles in that series, read them all. While you don’t have to understand or use the concept of “mind over matter” in your life in order to understand how water crystals work, it will certainly help you a great deal and give you several alternative views of looking at the issue, which will make this new experience all the more enlightening for you.
